Image
Antharanga Trek, the unknown trekking spot in Hyderabad Welcome back fellow Travel Enthusiasts, Welcome to the new blog on exploring the unexplored. Today, I am going to share a small experience of visiting the Anthararanga trek. It is located in Kavadipally village on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Though not much information is available on the net, it is attracting a lot of tourists lately. The best time to visit the place is during monsoon season, wherein one could even see a stream of water flowing from the top of the hill. The lush green forest and pleasant climate, scenic beauty of the place leaves you in awe. I heard about this place from the local engineering college students and I could not stop myself exploring the place. Since the place is not developed, there is no facility for food or water. Though It does not take more than 4 hours to reach the top and return, it is advised that you carry all the essentials like water and snacks while trekking. Take care of your fellow part...

Gayatri waterfalls, the beauty unexplored...

Gayatri waterfalls, the beauty unexplored... Discovered recently, Gayatri waterfalls is one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls I have been to. This is located in the Adilabad district of Telangana. Around 300kms from Hyderabad, one has to go to Ichoda village and drive 22 km from the highway to reach the place. With very little to no information on the net, this place attracted me in the first hint itself. It is not an easy way to go there, and if you are a solo traveler and planning there alone, think again… The place is very difficult to reach and one has to trek into the valley of over 100+ ft to reach the waterfalls. As per localities, there were a few fatal accidents while trekking, so it is always better to have an experienced person around you to guide you. Trust me, this is one way to reach the waterfalls There are two ways to trek to reach the waterfalls. One on vertical hills, which is very narrow and one wrong step could lead to heaven, the good point here is that ...

Leh Ladakh, the dream destination... (Part 2/3)... Day 4 According to the plan, we were expected to reach Leh by EOD, but the delay continued some way.   It’s the most important day, we got to see the most beautiful places. We started from Sonamarg in the morning, greeted natives for the Eid all the way. We passed the dangerous Zoji La pass in the morning. Briefing about Zoji La, I feel it is a nightmare for every rider on Srinagar –Leh highway.   Fingers-crossed all the way, it took around 1.5 hours to cross it. The road is a single lane, two-way traffic and valley on one side. Whenever you see a vehicle coming from the opposite direction, you have to wait till it passes you. If unfortunately, you are on the valley side, then better to start praying for another day of life. We crossed Zoji La, most of the path is covered with snow. If you have a fear of heights (I have) bette...

Leh Ladakh, the dream destination... (Part 1/3) It’s been 4 years (2016) we had this trip and transcribed my experience. Though I didn’t get an excellent opportunity to share earlier, This COVID crisis gave me a chance to rewind some those memories through pictures and this story I saved, and today I am excited to share with the great travellers of this group It’s big, or I should say a massive post, but I hope some of you may recollect yours as well… It was a warm summer day when I got bored of routine life and thought of some adventurous trip. The first place I got in my mind was Leh- Ladakh trip. It was my dream trip and then started searching about the correct time to visit and the journey plan. I asked some of my friends, my regular trip partners, and they waved the green flag. Their names are Abhishek Parihar , Telukunta Vamshidhar and Choudhary. The first problem was to arrange the trip dates to minimize the leaves from the office. So I planned it during Ramzan, where we ...
