Bugga, Best Waterfalls Near Hyderabad
Bugga, best waterfalls near Hyderabad
Hello fellow Travel Enthusiasts,
Welcome to my new blog of exploring the unexplored, and thanks for your love. Here I am
today, to introduce you to the hidden and most beautiful waterfalls located
very near to the city of Hyderabad, the Bugga waterfalls.
As usual, I was waiting for another beautiful weekend to explore the unexplored, woke up early in the morning and started my journey on the Sagar highway hoping for some adventurous and exciting journey, and luckily I met a guy who is waiting for some transport to reach his village. Helped him, and got to know about his village and the local festival that was going to happen in the Tanda where in people pray to Goddess and offer her the sheep. He also told me about the waterfalls nearby his village. Excited by hearing that, I asked him if he can show around. The village and Tanda lies on the opposite side of the road and tribal children has to go to the village for the primary schooling. The people here gave me a warm welcome and also offered me the fruits that are brought from the forest. Toddy water is also famous drink in Telangana and people coming here for the weekend are provided Toddy water is they make advance booking. You may have to walk and trek for atleast 2 km one-way to reach the spot and people with knee pain are advised not to take this trip.
How to reach?
Bugga waterfalls is just 66km from LB nagar, located near to
Venkaypalli tanda on Hyderabad to Nagarjuna Sagar highway. The places come
under Nalgonda district and is one of the difficult places to find if you are planning
alone. On the highway, take a left turn at Mall and go straight for around 26
km to reach Ajilapur village, there are 2-3 waterfalls nearby, though only
Bugga waterfalls is the only one that is allowed by police. Once you reach the
Venkipalli Tanda, it is always better if you take help of localities to reach
the waterfalls. They will charge you from 50-100 based on the negotiation and number
of people.
The best to have fun in the trip is to pack your lunch or
order it in Tanda along with the Toddy water. Spend some time in those pure
waterfalls. Trek the hills nearby or you may also have a photo sessions. Stay there
till evening and return back with great memories. You can also spend some time near Ibrahimpatnam lake and Injapur lake that are developed by the Telangana Govt.
